Abby came to us in November of 2020. When she arrived we suspected she was blind and that was confirmed by the sanctuary vet. Abby is a shy but sweet little lady who enjoys hanging out with Saja, one of our larger ponies. Saja is Abby’s eyes and you never see them far apart. Abby has other medical needs as well. She is foundered so can’t be on green grass at all. Too much sugar causes her feet to get inflamed and is very painful. She lives in the dry lot with the other littles that can’t have green grass in summer. Even though she’s blind she lives a full and happy life with her buddies.
